Yamaha Technical Training 2026

Alia, in collaboration with the Yamaha Technical Academy Japan, successfully conducted the 2026 Yamaha Technical Training Program, aimed at strengthening the technical knowledge and practical skills of mechanics across the Maldives. The program equipped participants with the expertise required to effectively service and maintain Yamaha outboard engines in accordance with Yamaha standards.

Delivered by experienced Yamaha Certified senior mechanics, the training combined theoretical instruction with practical, hands-on sessions covering engine servicing, maintenance, and technical procedures. Conducted in two phases, the program brought together mechanics from various government entities and private companies, providing them with valuable knowledge and practical experience to address the technical requirements of Yamaha outboard engines. Certificates were presented to participants upon completion of the program in recognition of their dedication and successful participation in the training.

Through initiatives such as the Yamaha Technical Training Program, Alia continues to invest in developing local technical expertise and supporting the growth of the Maldivian marine industry. As Yamaha continues to advance its outboard engine technology, ongoing technical training remains essential in ensuring mechanics are equipped with the latest knowledge and skills to meet evolving industry requirements.

The 2026 program marks the seventh training program of collaboration between Alia and the Yamaha Technical Academy Japan in delivering technical training in the Maldives. This longstanding partnership reflects a shared commitment to quality, technical excellence, and the sustainable development of marine operations across the country.

With the successful completion of this year’s program, participants leave with enhanced technical capabilities, practical experience, and a stronger understanding of Yamaha’s servicing and maintenance standards, further supporting their ability to efficiently maintain Yamaha outboard engines.
