Yamaha Technical Training 2026
Alia, together with the Yamaha Technical Academy Japan, has launched the 2026 Yamaha Technical Training Program, taking place from 1st to 13th August. The program is designed to strengthen the technical knowledge and practical abilities of mechanics throughout the Maldives, enabling them to provide effective maintenance and servicing for Yamaha outboard engines.
The training is being delivered by experienced Yamaha Certified senior mechanics and includes theory and practical hands-on sessions focused on the servicing and maintenance of Yamaha engines. Conducted in two phases, the program brings together mechanics from a range of government entities and private companies, giving participants the skills and knowledge needed to handle the specific technical requirements of servicing engines to Yamaha standards. Successful participants will be awarded certificates upon completion.
Through initiatives such as the Yamaha Technical Academy, Alia continues to invest in the development of local technical expertise and contribute to the advancement of the Maldivian marine industry. With Yamaha’s continued advancements of outboard engines, ongoing training will remain an important part of ensuring mechanics are equipped with the latest knowledge and skills to meet industry requirements.
The continued collaboration between Yamaha and Alia reflects a shared commitment to quality, technical excellence and the sustainable development of marine operations across the Maldives.
