Alia launched Yamaha Technical Training Program in Maldives
Yamaha Japan’s Technical Academy and Alia Investments have launched a Yamaha Technical Training Program in the Maldives. This training is the Yamaha Bronze level training that is commonly given to Yamaha distributors in Japan by the Yamaha Technical Academy.
This training is aimed at those who have experience in servicing Yamaha engines in the Maldives. A total of 18 mechanics from various agencies and private companies participated in the training program. The training will be provided by a team of Alia Investments’ Yamaha-certified senior mechanics with many years of experience.
Yamaha and Alia have celebrated their relationship for 48 years and a large number of people have been trained in various training conducted by Alia. The training will continue till 29 September and it will include theory and practical sessions.
The purpose of such training is to provide service to the Yamaha outboard engines that have brought light to the sea of Maldives. Yamaha’s outboard engines have undergone rigorous testing in the waters of the Maldives, instilling confidence in our valued customers.

Second Batch of Yamaha Technical Training Program in Maldives
Yamaha Japan’s Technical Academy and Alia Investments jointly held the Yamaha Technical Training Program 2023 in the Maldives. This year’s YTA was focused on both Outboard engines and Yamaha motorcycles.
This program is Yamaha’s Bronze level training typically offered to distributors of Yamaha products and, targets individuals with experience in servicing Yamaha products within the Maldives. A total of 52 trainees from government entities and private companies actively participated in this comprehensive training.
The training sessions are conducted by a team of Yamaha-certified senior mechanics from Alia Investments, each possessing extensive experience in the field. The program, which combined both theory and practical sessions was conducted during the training.
The primary objective of this training initiative is to enhance service capabilities for Yamaha outboard engines, which play a crucial role in illuminating the Maldives’ seas. Yamaha engines have undergone rigorous testing in the local waters, instilling confidence in our valued customers.
