Alia Investments Pvt Ltd held their Annual Alia Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with Maldives Blood Services (MBS) on 30th June 2018. This year’s Blood Donation Camp was more vibrant and far-reaching compared to previous years with an impressive number of blood donors voluntarily partaking in the one-day event held at the National Art Gallery. This camp was organized as an Alia’s CSR activity to celebrate World Blood Donors Day. Alia Investments and MBS aims that such events encourage blood donors to keep regularly donating blood and create a positive environment for first time blood donors to donate at ease.
This camp was inaugurated by the State Minister of Health Dr. Mohamed Habeeb along with WHO representative to the Maldives Dr. Arvind Mathur, the staff of MBS and the staff of Alia Investments. Certificates and trophies were awarded at the opening ceremony to regular blood donors and major contributors of the cause to appreciate their efforts. Maldives Blood Services recognised Alia’s continued support and contribution to the cause at a national level.
This camp was the most successful Blood Donation Camp of Alia till date with 189 donations.
